Sherry-finished Indian single malt with rich dried-fruit complexity

An exquisite Indian single malt matured in oak and finished in select Oloroso sherry casks to reveal a deep, warming complexity. It showcases a beautiful integration of robust barley with sweet, dried-fruit undertones and lingering wood-driven spice.

The story behind it

The maker

Amrut Distillery was founded in 1948 by J.N. Radhakrishna Rao Jagdale during the dawn of India's independence. Based in Bangalore, the family-run distillery pioneered the premium Indian single malt category, gaining global renown for its high-quality standards and innovative maturation techniques.

How it is made

Distilled in the tropical climate of Bangalore, India, where the intense heat accelerates maturation to produce an incredibly concentrated spirit. This expression is crafted from Indian barley and finished in European Oloroso sherry casks for added depth.
