Don Jose Maria Bañuelos founded Cazadores in 1922 in Arandas, Mexico, keeping his original highland recipe a closely guarded family secret for decades. The brand's signature stag logo pays homage to the wild deer he watched roaming the agave fields from his distillery window.
How it is made
Cazadores Tequila is crafted in Arandas, high in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, using a double fermentation process that takes up to seven days. The distilled spirit is never aged, capturing the untouched, raw essence of highland blue agave in its purest form.
