Casamigos was founded in 2013 by long-time friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman. Originally created to be a private house tequila for their homes in Mexico, the award-winning brand was eventually released to the public due to popular demand.
Produced at the legendary distillery in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, the pinas are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours. The spirit then undergoes a proprietary 80-hour fermentation process to develop its signature smooth texture.
