The von Trapp family, immortalized in 'The Sound of Music,' established the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont, in 1950. Johannes von Trapp started von Trapp Brewing in 2010 to bring authentic, Austrian-style lagers to the American craft beer landscape.
