Downeast Cider House was founded in 2011 by college friends Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher in Boston, Massachusetts. Their mission was simple: to build the best hard cider using only fresh-pressed local apples and real ingredients, rejecting the industrial back-sweetened standards of the time.
Crafted by the pioneers of unfiltered cider, this recipe avoids artificial concentrates in favor of freshly pressed apples. The cloudy appearance comes from leaving the apple solids in the liquid, preserving a fuller mouthfeel.
