The story behind it
Founded in 2011 by Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher in Maine before relocating to Boston, Downeast Cider House pioneered the unfiltered craft cider movement. Frustrated by mass-market, overly sweet filtered ciders, they set out to make cider that actually tastes like fresh-pressed apples.
Downeast Cider House was built on the belief that craft cider should be unfiltered and authentic, preserving the natural essence of the apple. Every batch is crafted in their Boston brewery using fresh-pressed local apples and premium ingredients.
