Downeast Cider House was founded in 2011 by college friends Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher with a simple mission: to build the best hard cider on the market. They decided early on to never use concentrates or artificial flavorings, relying instead on fresh New England apples and a commitment to keeping their products unfiltered.
Born in a Boston-area basement, this cider is crafted using freshly pressed apples and real fruit purées rather than artificial concentrates. The signature cloudy look comes from leaving the cider completely unfiltered, preserving maximum orchard fresh flavor.
