The story behind it
Founded in 2011 by Ross Brockman and Tyler Mosher in Maine before moving production to Boston, Downeast Cider House pioneered the unfiltered craft cider movement. Determined to create an authentic cider without artificial concentrates, they committed to using only fresh-pressed local apples.
Downeast Cider House was built on the belief that pure, unfiltered cider tastes better than the mass-produced, filtered alternatives. This signature cider is fermented on real fruit and kept completely unfiltered in the brewery & brewhouse to preserve the true taste of fresh apples and blueberries.
