The maker
John Walker first opened a small grocery shop in Kilmarnock, Scotland in 1820, where he began blending whiskies to ensure consistent quality. His pioneering spirit was carried on by his son Alexander, who launched the iconic, sloping square bottle and slant label in 1860, forever changing the world of Scotch whisky.
How it is made
Crafted at the historic blending house using up to 30 single malt and grain whiskies sourced from across Scotland's premier distilling regions. This masterfully balanced blend is built to survive dilution, retaining its complex peat and spice signatures in any serve.
