The story behind it
The maker
Jameson was founded by John Jameson in 1780 at the Bow Street Distillery in Dublin with a commitment to producing the finest triple-distilled whiskey. Over more than two centuries, the brand has grown into the world's most famous Irish whiskey, combining traditional copper pot still distilling with modern innovation at its current home in Midleton.
How it is made
Crafted at the historic Midleton Distillery in Cork, this release was born from a collaborative conversation between the Jameson Master Distiller and the head brewer of Franciscan Well Brewery. The brewery seasoned former Jameson casks with stout beer, which were then returned to the distillery to finish this innovative whiskey.
