The Old Bushmills Distillery was officially granted a license to distill by King James I in 1608 in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. For over four centuries, the historic house has remained dedicated to the art of triple-distilling authentic Irish whiskey using local water from the River Bush.
How it is made
Crafted at the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery, this expression undergoes signature triple-distillation in copper pot stills. It is aged in select first-fill American oak bourbon barrels to draw out sweeter, creamier wood characteristics.
