Harpoon Brewery was co-founded in 1986 by Dan Kenary, Rich Doyle, and George Ligeti in Boston, Massachusetts, with the goal of bringing craft brewing back to the city. As pioneers of the New England craft beer movement, they introduced the UFO line to celebrate unfiltered, yeast-forward wheat beers.
