Founded in 1743 in Kobe, Japan, Hakutsuru is one of the oldest and most esteemed sake producers in the country. The name Hakutsuru translates to white crane, representing elegance, longevity, and the pursuit of grace, which guides their centuries-old brewing philosophy.
Hakutsuru is brewed in the Nada district of Kobe, a region renowned for its pristine Mount Rokko spring water known as Miyamizu. The brewery employs traditional Nada brewing techniques passed down through generations of master brewers to craft highly balanced, versatile sakes.
