The world's classic versatile and dry traditional sake
This versatile Junmai sake offers a dry, well-balanced profile with light herbaceous notes and a hint of grapefruit. Highly adaptable, it can be enjoyed chilled, at room temperature, or warmed to bring out its earthy, mineral-driven undertones.

Founded in 1637 by Jiemon Okura in Fushimi, Gekkeikan is one of the world's oldest family-owned companies. The brand name translates to 'Laurel Wreath,' symbolizing victory and excellence, and it has long served as an official purveyor to the Japanese Imperial Household.
Brewed in Fushimi, Kyoto, Gekkeikan utilizes the legendary local spring water known as Fushimizu, which is renowned for its soft and pure quality. The brewery employs traditional multi-stage parallel fermentation to achieve a remarkably clean and balanced sake.
