Introduced in 1975 as the first premium sipping tequila, 1800 is named after the historic year tequila was first successfully aged in oak casks. Owned by the Beckmann family, who also manage Jose Cuervo, the brand represents centuries of Mexican distilling tradition.
Produced at the historic Beckmann family distillery & production estate in Jalisco, Mexico. This expression is rested for at least six months in a combination of charred French and American oak barrels to develop its golden hue and soft texture.
