Don Jose Maria Bañuelos founded Cazadores in 1922 in Arandas, Jalisco, after perfecting his secret recipe. The iconic stag on the label honors the majestic deer that roamed the highland agave fields he tended.
This tequila is produced at the San Jose de Gomez distillery & production estate in the Highlands of Jalisco. It is crafted using traditional brick ovens and fermented with a proprietary yeast strain to the sound of classical music.
