Introduced in 1994, El Jimador was named in honor of the master jimadores who harvest the blue Weber agave. It is crafted at the legendary Casa Herradura in Amatitán, Jalisco, which has been distilling tequila since 1870.
El Jimador is produced at Casa Herradura, an historic estate in the heart of Jalisco's agave region. Traditional brick ovens are used to bake the agave piñas before distillation, followed by aging in toasted oak barrels.
