Nelson's Green Brier Distillery was resurrected in Nashville by brothers Andy and Charlie Nelson, descendants of the original founder Charles Nelson. They revived the historic brand using family recipes and historic labels that survived the Prohibition era.
Belle Meade Bourbon was originally created by Charles Nelson in the late 19th century and named after the historic Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville. The modern recreation honors this legacy through carefully selected high-rye barrels matured in historic rickhouses.
