Founded in 1795 by Johannes Jacob Boehm, who later changed his name to Beam, this legendary distillery has been led by seven generations of the same pioneering family. Renamed in honor of James B. Beam in 1943, the brand rebuilt its legacy from the ground up after the repeal of Prohibition.
Crafted in Clermont, Kentucky, this bourbon is distilled using the same family yeast strain since the end of Prohibition. It undergoes a meticulous four-year aging process in newly charred American white oak barrels within historic wooden rickhouses.
