Founded in the 1990s by a group of close friends, including a prominent Mexican caricaturist, Chamucos began as a passion project to create an authentic, high-quality tequila. The brand is instantly recognizable by its playful hand-drawn 'devil' mascot, representing the mischievous spirit of legendary Mexican folklore.
Chamucos Tequila is crafted using traditional brick ovens to cook the mature blue agave, which is then slowly fermented utilizing natural airborne yeasts. The spirit is distilled in small batches before undergoing extensive aging in select oak casks at the production estate.
