Originally created by Seagram in 1975 under master distiller Charles L. Beam, Eagle Rare was introduced to compete with Wild Turkey. The brand was later acquired by Sazerac, transferring its production to the historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Eagle Rare is distilled, aged, and bottled at Buffalo Trace, the world's most decorated distillery. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon is aged for no less than ten years in new, charred oak barrels to achieve its legendary depth.
