Ocean-matured bourbon with a signature touch of sea salt
This unique bourbon undergoes a maritime maturation process, crossing the equator multiple times aboard container ships. The constant motion and salty sea air accelerate aging, producing an incredibly smooth whiskey with an unmistakable briny complexity.

Jefferson's was co-founded in 1997 by Trey Zoeller and his father Chet Zoeller, a famed bourbon historian. Trey conceived the Ocean series while sitting on a boat and watching his bourbon gently slosh in its glass, wondering how ocean aging would affect a whole barrel.
This bourbon is aged in barrels placed on container ships that sail across the ocean, exposing the liquid to extreme temperature fluctuations and maritime air. The constant agitation from the sea swells maximizes contact between the wood and the whiskey, accelerating the aging process naturally.
