Col. E.H. Taylor, Jr. established the O.F.C. Distillery (now Buffalo Trace) in the late 19th century, introducing innovative techniques such as copper fermentation vats and column stills. Today, Buffalo Trace Distillery honors his legacy and strict quality standards with this namesake, small-batch collection of historic bourbon recipes.
Named after Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., who is widely considered the father of the modern bourbon industry. This unfiltered whiskey is aged in the historic Brick House C, built by Taylor himself in 1881.
