Founded in 1870 by George Garvin Brown in Louisville, Kentucky, Old Forester is famous for being the first bourbon bottled exclusively in sealed glass to guarantee quality. It is the only bourbon continuously distilled and marketed by its founding family before, during, and after Prohibition.

Crafted at the historic Brown-Forman distillery, this expression replicates a historic 1910 bottling where a distillery fire forced mature whisky to be transferred into new charred oak casks. This double-barreling technique imparts unprecedented depth and sweet oak char into the final bourbon.
