Knob Creek was introduced in 1992 by legendary Master Distiller Booker Noe as part of Jim Beam's Small Batch Collection. Named after the small creek that ran through President Abraham Lincoln's childhood home, the brand was created to restore the robust, pre-Prohibition style of bold American whiskey.
Crafted at the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont, Kentucky, this expression is selected from choice barrels resting within the center cut of the historic rickhouses. Each hand-picked barrel is aged to achieve optimal wood interaction, resulting in a deeper, more rugged flavor profile.
