Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon

Woodford Reserve750 ml45.2% ABV

Twice barreled for twice the rich, toasted oak flavor

An innovative double-barreled expression that undergoes a unique maturation process for unparalleled depth. It is matured in handcrafted charred oak barrels before being transferred into a second deeply toasted and lightly charred barrel to extract additional soft, sweet oak characters.

The story behind it

The maker

Woodford Reserve was introduced in 1996 by the Brown-Forman Corporation at their historic distillery site, which dates back to 1812. Master Distillers have long utilized the site's limestone-filtered water and traditional copper pot stills to define the modern standard of premium Kentucky bourbon.

How it is made

Crafted at the historic Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, this bourbon utilizes a unique double-barreling technique. The secondary barrel is toasted for twice as long as a standard barrel before being lightly charred, releasing extra layers of wood sugars.
