Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled and diluted, then strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube. Express orange peel over the glass and garnish.

Founded by T. William 'Bill' Samuels Sr. and his wife Margie in Loretto, Kentucky in 1953, Maker's Mark revolutionized the bourbon industry by replacing rye with red winter wheat for a gentler taste. Crafted at the historic Star Hill Farm, this expression begins as standard Maker's Mark before undergoing a unique secondary maturation. Ten seared French oak staves (Profile No. 46) are inserted into the barrel for several weeks to pull out bold, caramelized wood flavors.
