The story behind it
The maker
High West was founded in 2006 by David and Jane Perkins in Park City, Utah, becoming the state's first legal distillery since 1896. Their vision was to celebrate the heritage of the Old West while pushing boundaries in whiskey blending and cask finishing.
How it is made
Crafted high in the Wasatch Mountains, this expression is built upon a base of straight rye whiskeys. The finishing period in French oak port casks imbues the spirit with an incredibly festive, dessert-like character.
