Founded in Brattleboro, Vermont, by Christophe Gagnon and Avery Schwenk, Hermit Thrush Brewery has been crafting unique wild and sour beers since 2014. The brewery is dedicated to utilizing local ingredients, including wild yeast, local hops, and regional fruits, to showcase the true terroir of New England.
Hermit Thrush Brewery uses historic wild yeast strains and souring bacteria harvested directly from the Vermont air. Their eco-friendly brewhouse is fueled entirely by wood pellet boilers, keeping their carbon footprint incredibly small.
