The Balvenie Distillery was founded by William Grant in 1892 in the heart of Speyside, Scotland. It remains one of the few distilleries that still grows its own barley, utilizes traditional floor maltings, and employs a coppersmith and team of coopers on-site, keeping historic craftsmanship alive.
Crafted in Dufftown, Scotland, this single malt undergoes a legendary consecutive maturation process designed by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE. It spends twelve years in traditional American oak whisky casks before being transferred to Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks for an additional nine months.
