The story behind it
Stella Rosa was created in 2003 by the Riboli family of San Antonio Winery, a historic winemaking family established in Los Angeles in 1917. They saw a desire for a sweeter, lower-alcohol, semi-sparkling wine style and pioneered this highly successful category of imported Italian wines.
Crafted in the Asti region of Piedmont, Italy, this wine is made by blending select Italian grapes with natural, proprietary fruit distillates. The gentle sparkling character is captured through a controlled natural fermentation process at the winery.
