MAN Family Wines was founded in 2001 by Jose Condé and brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh. The winery's name is an acronym for Marie, Anette, and Nicky—the founders' wives—created to appease them for all the time and money spent starting the business.
Sourced primarily from dry-land vineyards in the Agter-Paarl area, this wine utilizes only free-run juice to preserve clean, natural fruit expressions. The slow, cold fermentation process in stainless steel tanks highlights the classic, refreshing character of South African Steen.
