Classic Tuscan Sangiovese with rustic charm and vibrant fruit
This classic Tuscan red offers an earthy, expressive nose of soil, ripe cherries, and dark chocolate, accented by hints of fresh mint and fennel. On the palate, vibrant acidity and firm tannins frame a savory core of dark stone fruits and wild herbs, leading to a balanced and traditional dry finish.

Named to honor the ancient black pig of Tuscany, La Maialina celebrates the history and culture of the region. Under the direction of master winemakers, the estate sources grapes from prime vineyard sites throughout Chianti to produce wines that deliver exceptional value and classic character.
La Maialina takes its name from the historic Cinta Senese pig, a heritage breed native to the Siena hills that is depicted in local Renaissance frescoes. The winery & vineyard focus on crafting classic expressions of Sangiovese that respect old-world Tuscan winemaking traditions.
