Founded in 1871, the House of Garofoli is one of the oldest and most prestigious family-run estates in the Marche region of Italy. Through five generations, the family has championed the expressive potential of local varietals, establishing a global reputation for exceptional quality and tradition.
Crafted by the historic Garofoli winery & vineyard in the Rosso Conero DOC, this wine is made entirely from Montepulciano grapes. The name Piancarda refers to a specific, highly-regarded hillside vineyard area known for its unique microclimate and calcareous soils.
