The iconic Italian red with the hand-tied grapevine twig
This richly fruited Italian red delivers ripe black cherry and plum in full force, backed by subtle tobacco and warm baking spices. Known affectionately as the stick wine, it offers a medium-bodied palate with approachable tannins and a crisp, tangy finish.

Founded by Marcello Zaccagnini as a small family winery, the estate has grown into an international symbol of Abruzzese winemaking. Today, the family continues to combine modern technology with traditional vineyard practices in their state-of-the-art winery.
Deeply rooted in the Bolognano region of Abruzzo, Cantina Zaccagnini has been craft-focused since 1978. Every bottle of their signature 'dal tralcetto' line features a hand-tied piece of grapevine twig, celebrating their connection to the land.
