The story behind it

The maker

Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey in 1942 in Jalisco when he founded his own distillery. Driven by a revolutionary passion, he revolutionized the production process by choosing quality over quantity, planting each agave further apart and harvesting them individually.

How it is made

Handcrafted at the La Primavera distillery in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. This legendary liquid is aged in small batches for a minimum of two and a half years in selected American white oak barrels.
