The story behind it
Founded by visionary winemaker Rui Roboredo Madeira in 2011, Beyra was born out of a pioneering spirit to highlight Portugal's high-altitude terroir. Using dry-farmed indigenous vines, Madeira crafted the country's first altitude wine brand in his native region.
Crafted from high-altitude vineyards located in the rugged Beira Interior region of Portugal, where quartz-veined granite soils shape the wine's character. The grapes are vinified in an gravity-fed winery & vineyard cellar to preserve their natural mountain freshness.
