Shake the blended Scotch, lemon juice, and honey-ginger syrup with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Float the peaty single malt on top and garnish with candied ginger.

Originally established by grocer John Walker in Kilmarnock, Scotland in 1820, the brand pioneered the art of blending to consistency. His son Alexander later introduced the iconic square bottle and slanting label in 1860, creating a global icon of quality and progress.
Johnnie Walker Black Label is expertly blended from over thirty single malt and grain whiskies, each matured in oak casks for at least 12 years. The blend relies on the distinct peat smoke of Islay malts combined with the sweet, honeyed fruit notes of Speyside and Highland whiskies.
