Legendary bourbon barrel-aged stout finished with cherry wood
This highly sought-after imperial stout is aged in bourbon barrels with cherry wood chips to develop a complex, multi-layered profile. Bold notes of dark chocolate and vanilla seamlessly intertwine with a bright, tart cherry finish and warm baking spices.

Founded in Chicago in 1988 by John Hall, Goose Island Beer Company pioneered craft brewing in the Midwest. The brewery achieved legendary status in 1992 when it introduced the Bourbon County Stout, widely credited as the world's first commercially produced bourbon barrel-aged beer.
Crafted at the historic Goose Island brewhouse in Chicago, this beer utilizes a specialized barrel-aging process with selected wood profiles. The addition of cherry wood during the aging cycle imparts unique toasted tannins and subtle stone-fruit notes to the legendary stout base.
