The story behind it
Beaulieu Vineyard was founded in 1900 by Georges de Latour and his wife Fernande in the Rutherford region of Napa Valley. Upon seeing the beautiful land, Fernande proclaimed it was a 'beau lieu,' or beautiful place, establishing a historic winery that would shape American winemaking for over a century.
Crafted with grapes sourced primarily from California's cool-climate Central Coast vineyards. Gentle pressing and oak aging help preserve the bright fruit flavors while developing the wine's signature silky tannins.
