Casamigos was founded in 2013 by long-time friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman. Originally created to be the perfect house tequila to enjoy with friends and family, the brand is designed to be smooth and easy to drink without the need for lime or salt.
Produced at the Jalisco, Mexico distillery & production estate, this tequila utilizes agaves cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours. It is then fermented slowly for 80 hours using a proprietary yeast blend to develop its signature smoothness.
