Founded in 1997 by Arturo Lomeli in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Clase Azul was born out of a desire to share the richness of Mexican culture with the world. The brand is famous not only for its liquid gold but also for its iconic, hand-painted ceramic decanters crafted by local artisans in Santa María Canchesda.
Distilled at the Clase Azul distillery & production estate in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, this tequila utilizes agaves harvested after six to eight years. The cooked piñas are crushed using traditional roller mills before fermenting and undergoing double distillation in copper pot stills.
