Patrón was co-founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley with the singular mission of creating the world's first ultra-premium tequila. Produced at the Hacienda Patrón distillery & production estate in Jalisco, this tequila utilizes both a traditional tahona wheel and a modern roller mill for crushing. The resulting distillates are meticulously blended by the master distiller to achieve the brand's signature smooth character.
