Hacienda Corralejo was originally founded in 1755 by Don Pedro Sánchez de Tagle and stands as one of Mexico's oldest and most historic distilleries. It is highly notable for being the birthplace of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a national hero of Mexican Independence, blending cultural legacy with artisan tequila craft.
Produced at the historic Hacienda Corralejo in Guanajuato, this distillery utilizes traditional French Charentais alembic copper pot stills for its distillation. The estate-grown agaves are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens to maximize the extraction of rich, sweet sugars.
