Founded in Cognac, France, in 1765 by Irish officer Richard Hennessy, the house of Hennessy has pioneered premium spirits for over 250 years. It was Maurice Hennessy in 1870 who coined the term 'X.O' specifically for this robust, age-worthy cognac style.
Crafted from a blend of over 100 exceptional eaux-de-vie aged up to 30 years in French oak barrels. The double-distillation takes place in traditional copper Charentais alembic stills inside the historic cognac house.
