Founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy, an Irish officer in the service of the King of France, Hennessy has grown to become the world's leading cognac house. The V.S.O.P expression was originally created in 1817 as a 'Very Superior Old Pale' cognac requested by the future King George IV of the United Kingdom.
Crafted from a selection of grapes harvested exclusively in the Cognac region of France. The eaux-de-vie are aged in French Limousin oak casks within the historic cellars of the legendary Hennessy distillery & production estate.
