The Botanist was created in 2010 by Master Distiller Jim McEwan at Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, Scotland. The brand was founded to celebrate the rich, wild floral biodiversity of the Scottish island by sourcing 22 native botanicals hand-foraged sustainably from its hills.
Distilled at the legendary Bruichladdich Distillery on the Isle of Islay, this gin is crafted in the historic Lomand Still. It is distilled over a slow, 17-hour process to gently extract the aromatic essence of Islay's flora.
