Hendrick's Gin was launched in 1999 by William Grant & Sons in Girvan, Scotland. It was created by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie, who sought to craft a botanical spirit inspired by the quintessential British garden experience of eating cucumber sandwiches while sitting in a rose garden.
Handcrafted in small batches of 500 liters at a time, this gin is produced at the Girvan Distillery. It utilizes an unusual combination of two different stills—a Bennett copper pot still and a Carter-Head vapor-infusion still—to achieve its signature complexity.
