Founded by T. William 'Bill' Samuels Sr. and his wife Margie in 1953, Maker's Mark revolutionized the whiskey world by creating a premium, easy-drinking bourbon. Margie Samuels is credited with inventing the brand name, designing the label, and conceiving the famous dripping red wax bottle seal.
Handcrafted at the Star Hill Farm distillery & rickhouse in Loretto, Kentucky, this bourbon utilizes limestone-filtered water and a unique heirloom yeast strain. Every single bottle is still hand-dipped in its iconic signature red wax at the distillery.
