Tequila Chamucos was founded in 1994 by Mexican caricaturist Antonio Urrutia and close friends, who wanted to create a high-quality, authentic tequila with a playful spirit. The name 'Chamucos' refers to playful, mischievous little devils, which are hand-drawn on the distinctive packaging.
Chamucos Reposado is crafted at premium partner distilleries in Los Altos and Arenal, utilizing slow-cooked blue agave in traditional brick ovens. The spirit undergoes fermentation with proprietary yeasts before being double-distilled in stainless steel alembic stills.
